Champaign County
The Champaign County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office seeks a full-time assistant prosecuting attorney. The successful candidate must be licensed to practice law in the state of Ohio and will primarily be responsible for handling juvenile and adult felony dockets.  The ability to work independently and familiarity with Ohio law is necessary. A trial attorney with one or more years experience is preferred but not required. This is NOT the job for the faint of heart. This is a position where the successful candidate will be challenged intellectually and emotionally. The successful candidate will have an immediate case load and will be working closely with law enforcement, victims of crime, defense attorneys and court personnel in a collegial environment. Long hours and excellence in work product should be expected. A motivated individual with a desire to spend their days in the courtroom and their evenings preparing for trial should apply.  Excellent research and writing skills is a MUST. Additionally, oral advocacy skills and the ability to communicate effectively are a MUST. Clark County
The Clark County Prosecutor’s Office is seeking an attorney for the abuse, neglect, and dependency docket in juvenile court.  The successful candidate must be admitted to practice law in Ohio and in good standing, and must have a passion for protecting at-risk children.  The position requires an individual who can be a team player with social workers and other staff from the Clark County Department of Job and Family Services, have good communication and organizational skills, be self-motivated, and able to perform with minimal supervision.  The position will be located in the offices of Job and Family Services.  Candidates with experience in this field will receive preferred consideration.  No criminal felony work or private practice.  Possible starting salary of $45,000 to $55,000.  Send cover letter, résumé, and references by December 5, 2017, to:

Guernsey County
The Guernsey County Prosecutor’s Office is seeking applicants for a full-time, entry level position as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney in the Juvenile Division.  Primary duties will include litigation, research, and case management of delinquent and unruly cases, as well as, assignment to tasks from other dockets or divisions as needed. Applicants must possess a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and an active Ohio law license in good standing. Prior litigation experience as a certified intern or trial team preferred.  Experience in legal research and writing is a must.  Additionally, selected candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and work ethic. The salary for this position will be commensurate with experience. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, OPERS, bi-annual bar dues, and CLEs. Putnam County
The Putnam County Prosecutor's Office is seeking a full-time Assistant Prosecutor to handle felony prosecutions including appeals.  Prior trial experience is required.  The successful candidate will have an immediate caseload and will also provide support in the misdemeanor and juvenile courts from time to time. Candidates should be a licensed attorney in good standing with the Ohio Supreme Court and be a motivated  individual with a desire to spend their days in the courtroom.
